There was a time when you needed a state-of-the-art DSLR camera to take gorgeous pictures. That slowly started to change, with more photographers adopting the iPhone. None were as prominent as professional sports photographer Brad Mangin.
He spent more than 20 years photographing everything from the World Series to the Superbowl, utilizing his trusty DSLR each time. Brad recently made the switch to the iPhone, touting its small size, honest-looking shots, ease of use, and sharing capabilities.

Snapseed
Snapseed might be a free iPhone app, but it has a lot of tools that are useful for photographers. This photo editing app includes all the basics, such as cropping and sharpening, along with some advanced tools. The curves and brushes let you take your photos to the next level, and you can easily remove unwanted objects with the healing tool. Plus, with selective editing, you get to focus on the areas that are most important to you. You can even smooth someone’s skin or adjust the angle of a head with this robust editing application.
One of the most useful features is the “last edits” option. If you use the feature, it will apply the same edits to all the photos you open. That makes editing so much faster.
TouchRetouch
Unwanted objects are a photographer’s nightmare. You think you’ve taken a great set of photos, only to see a photo bomb in the background. Fortunately, TouchRetouch makes it easy to get those unwanted elements out of your photos. A simple touch is all you need to make those objects disappear. You can even remove small objects easily.
